Calvin Coolidge Typed Letter Signed.
Calvin Coolidge Typed Letter Signed. The 30th President of the United States writes to the Hon. Myron T. Herrick at the American Embassy in Paris, one page, 7” x 8.75”, White House letterhead, April 15, 1924. In full: “My dear Mr. Ambassador: My thanks are due to you for your letter of April 3rd. So far as concerns the Ohio political situation, I have felt all along that you would yourself be the proper person to judge regarding it. I am entirely satisfied with whatever determination you may reach in such matters. Your explanation of an interesting financial transaction involving exchange, inflation and deflation, is decidedly entertaining. I am very much obliged to you for telling me all about this operation. It is certainly good to know that the Embassy is at last, even though so tardily, to be properly housed, and I realize how much in that connection is owing to your own effort and interest. Most sincerely yours, Calvin Coolidge” “Coolidge Pres.” is written in pencil at the top of the page. The letter is in fine condition with one center fold and some roughness on the left border. From the collection of Henry E. Luhrs.

Shipping: Flat Material, Small (view shipping information)
