Calvin Coolidge signed copy of his book ''Have Faith in Massachusetts''. Boston and New York: Houghton Mifflin Company: 1919. Collection of some of Coolidge's most memorable speeches and opinions on the New England state. A year after its publication, Coolidge went on to become Vice President in 1920 and in 1923, became President after Warren Harding's unexpected death. Book is inscribed: ''As an editor / To Benjamin F. Felt / With regards / Calvin Coolidge / June 1920''. Book runs 225pp., bound in blue cloth boards with gilt text stamping. Light wear and foxing to interior, otherwise near fine.
