Sister of Kewpie doll creator Rose O’Neill. ALS signed “Tista,” four pages on two adjoining sheets, 5.25 x 7, July 19, 1944. Letter to a family friend. In part: “Can’t let another day go by without a shout to you. So afraid you might hop up and go somewhere—Your latest letter sounded so going away-ish. The other one sounded as if you wanted to be right where you are…We are at such a standstill now hearts and minds hardly ticking.” At the bottom of the second page, her youngest brother, “Cink,” has added a brief pencil notation. In fine condition.
