California Coastal Indians are depicted in this hand made doll couple.
Ceramic heads, arms and legs with a cloth body, he stands 12" tall and she is 11".
Hand made clothing, her skirt is hide with bead work and shells hand sewn on.
He wears a hide breech cloth and a fur cap with white points.
Both of the dolls has black yarn hair in braids.
Their necklaces are beads and shells, very intricate and representative of the Yurok and Hoopa tribes.
Hand made in the 1970s, very fine condition, one broken tip off a white point.
