J. Paul Getty
Famed industrialist and oil man (1892–1976) known as a collector of art and antiquities. Personal trust check, 8.5 x 3.25, filled out in type and signed by Getty, "Jean Paul Getty," payable to Thorncrest School for Boys for $105, April 25, 1946. In fine condition.

Henry E. Huntington
Railroad magnate and collector of art and rare books (1850–1927). DS, signed “H. E. Huntington,” one page both sides, 8.25 x 6.75, November 1, 1904. Pacific Electric Railway Company pay voucher for $8.00 for an advertising invoice from the Long Beach Press Pub. Co., endorsed on the reverse by Huntington as president of the railway. In fine condition.

Collis P. Huntington
Railroad industrialist (1821–1900) known as one of the 'Big Four' of western railroading. Partly-printed DS, signed “C. P. Huntington,” one page, 11.5 x 15.5, September 26, 1889. Stock certificate issued to "C. P. Huntington" for 100 shares of capital stock in the Newport News and Mississippi Valley Company, signed at the conclusion by Huntington as president. Twenty dividend coupons are attached to bottom of certificate. In fine condition, with several unobtrusive cancellation holes.
