He was a member of four NFL Championship teams and regarded among the best umpires in the league. This proficiency earned him enshrinement not only in the Pro Football and Baseball Halls of Fame, but also in the College Football Hall of Fame, the first man to be enshrined in three different halls. Hubbard has signed the provided magazine cover, which is a <I>Sports Collectors Digest</B></I> from 1976.
