The lot features a fantastic circa 1930-1940's Navajo Klagetoh regional weaving rug. The rug is comprised of hand-spun wool, woven using colors of browns, black, red, and cream, The rug exhibits a bold
pattern at the center, a simplistic Klagetoh elongated diamond with hooked steps done in black and cream / white on a heathered grey / brown background with red framed in a red and black / brown border with edge in red light green and white / cream. The rug has a nice tight weave and visible lazy lines. The piece overall is very well kept with no major visible damages, slight corner wear, no holes and slight soiling that can be cleaned out in the cream center motif. Provenance: Found to be an authentic Navajo Western Reservation Weaving second-quarter-20th century by the experts at Freeman's Hindman. Measures overall 74-inches by 36-inches.
