This is a classic circa 1920-1930’s Fred Harvey Navajo sterling silver ring set with turquoise. The ring shows the classic spotted oval ring with dark green turquoise stone and triple shank band with old stampings, nearly identical to other Fred Harvey examples. The piece has original patina and displays well. Fred Harvey jewelry was made for the Anglo tourist along the Santa Fe railroad lines, in hotels and retail shops run primarily by the Fred Harvey Company. Harvey hired Navajo silversmith to create decorative symbolized jewelry for the tourist trade. This ring is a size 4-4 ½ US that measures approximately 7/8” by ¾” by 7/8”. Total weight of 6.1 grams.
