The lot features an early 1900 Navajo hard sole hide moccasins with silver concho buttons. The set shows thick parfleche rawhide Buffalo / Bison soles and are in a classic "Cactus Kicker" shape, commonly seen amongst the Navajo and Apache Indians. This set was found to be an authentic first quarter of the 1900's Navajo set by the experts at Cowan's Hindman. The medium to high ankle is comprised of Indian tanned hide, likely Elk or Antelope with a dark red to brown coloring and tie off at a silver Navajo old stamped concho / concha button on each. Nice foot worn pattern on the thick bottoms. Each measures 9.75"L across the sole by 3.75"W by 8.5"H at the ankle. Total weight of 8 oz.
