Featured in this lot is this pair of Pima County Bank notes or checks Tombstone and Tucson, Arizona Territory circa 1880; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. There are two bank notes or checks in this collection both were displayed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum. The first is a Pima County Bank note dubbed Tombstone, Arizona and dated Nov. 4th, 1880 paid to the order of Thomas Goss and signed by the bank manager P.M. Smith and is No. 4057. The second check is a Pima County Bank dubbed Tucson, Arizona and dated April2, 1880 paid to the order of Raymond & Willshire for $58.33 and signed by the bank manager William A. Scott. The condition of this pair of Pima County Bank notes is well preserve with some slight smudging to the checks consistent with age and handling but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of these checks is 3 3/8" x 8 1/8" and 3 1/4" x 8 1/4".
