Featured in this lot is this Lincoln, NM mercantile ledger - A.A. McSween circa 1877; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This ledger is dated for a year prior to the official start of the Lincoln County War so just prior to Tunstall cattle getting stolen; this ledger also mentions allocation of a charge made to Tunstall and John Newcomb for $3.50. The ledger is signed with Alexander McSween offical signature on the back of the ledger. The condition of this ledger is well preserved with with some splotching and browning to the page consistent with its age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this document is 11 3/4" x 7 1/4". LO-99
