The lot features two original Hunkpapa Sioux bracelets recovered near the Battle of the Little Bighorn and with paperwork from The Guns of History noting them as being from Hunkpapa Sioux Gall. The lot consists of two bracelets that appear to be made from iron, one with nine strands and the other seven strands which have been rounded off at the end, in a classic Plains Indian jewelry style. Both are heavily corroded, consistent with being recovered. David Bald Eagle, gave testimony that his grandfather White Bull that he was witness at The Battle of the Little Bighorn of Gall putting his children on scaffolds and later his wives. These bracelets were recovered on private property near this site. The bracelets are 2 5/8" by 2 1/8" by 1 5/8" and 2.5" by 1 7/8" by 1.25" (both are box measurements).
