Beautiful Art Deco malachite color glass vase with females and grapes in relief are near the perfection. Made by Riedel Glass for Schlevogt's 1930's INGRID line. Henry Schlevogt took over Hoffman (his father in law" company and worked for several years to develop type of glass that had depth and richness of semi-precious stone like Jade, Malachite and Lapis. In 1934 INGRID line glass was unveiled. It was very successful to compete with Lalique glass in international markets. Signed "INGRID" on black/silver foil label. Although this vase is listed in the book "MOSER - Artistry in glass (pg.90, plate 154 / $350-500), Moser was most likely the exporter of this article after the WWII, but never a manufacturer. Mint condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Dimension : 5"H, Czechoslovakia c. 1950's. Original (un-retouched) pictures without the bar over the chest available on request, if interested, please email us.
