OUR EXCLUSIVE * not available by any other seller or gallery!!! The "CHERUBS" is one of the best examples of the Czech figural perfume bottles from the Golden Era of 1920-39. This RARE Corinthian marble glass was experimental and very unlikely to be duplicated in the future. This "Beauty" was recreated from the original 1930's mold by our own "BOHEME" Studio (1997) in the Czech Republic. The "open" work stopper has two cherubs in relief, playing violin and cymbals. The bottle is hand cut and polished. The quality of the workmanship is equivalent to the Vintage piece. The color glass bottles range from the easy to find to extremely rare. Clear crystal is the least expensive, most common and easiest to find. The production of the Vaseline and opaque colors is the most expensive and most difficult to find. Rarity of colors : "1" easiest to find (Clear Crystal), "2" common, "3" intermediate, "4" scarce (opaque black), "5" rare (opaque green-Malachite), "6" very rare (opaque blue-Lapis), "7" hardest to find (Turquoise-Aqua). This Opaque Corinthian Marble glass is not even rated since very few pieces were ever made before. Size : 8-1/8"H. MINT condition.
