Beautiful Art Deco malachite COLOR glass vase in combination of frosted finish and hand cut work. Four semi draped females in relief are near the perfection. Designed by Prof. Arthur Plewa in 1930's for Henry Schevogt, made by Riedel Glass for Schlevogt's 1930's INGRID line. Henry Schlevogt took over Hoffman (his father in law" company and worked for several years to develop type of glass that had depth and richness of semi-precious stone like Jade, Malachite and Lapis. In 1934 INGRID line glass was unveiled. It was very successful to compete with Lalique glass in international markets. Signed "INGRID" on black/silver foil label.
