As stated by Ruth Forsythe (Czechoslovakian Collectors Guild International, Volume 1, No.3), Czech Vanity trays are SCARCE commodity. Up for Auction is gorgeous Czech vanity tray with molded and acid etched intaglio green nymphs handles. Identical tray with yellow handles is valued $1,100 in the price guide of the above publication. We secured few handles years ago and had custom made oval mirror and hardware for this piece, to bring it to even better than original condition. You won't believe how the light reflects through these thick green glass handles, and bounces back to you from the mirror's reflection, highlighting the frosted Nymphs. It was a challenge to capture 3 dimensional beauty which eye so easily perceives?breathtaking! The handles were made from the original 1930's mold by our Boheme Studio in Czech Republic. Perfume bottle lovers, don't pass up this opportunity to own this fabulous tray, it is not available anywhere, we are the only source in the U.S.A. Size : 16-1/2"L x 8-3/4"W. MINT condition, no chips, cracks or "flea bites". Original un-retouched photos without the bar over the chest are available on request. Please note that for Ebay Live Auctions only bids at or over $300.00 will be successful and meet our reserve.
