<B>CT22/152E Counterfeit $10 1861.</B></I> This counterfeit is based on a Samuel Upham woodcut. Besides the crudeness of the woodcut, other characteristics of this particular counterfeit are plate letter C, printed signatures, and printed serial number 3312. This also is the variety without the grove of pine trees in the background and the vertical plate break in the center of the note.
