<B>Confederate Surgeon Major Samuel Houston Caldwell's Confederate Lapel Button.</B></I> Samuel Houston Caldwell was a Confederate to the end of his days. The former battlefield surgeon to General Nathan Bedford Forrest, Caldwell attended all the Confederate reunions, before the organization of the United Confederate Veterans organization in 1889, and after. <BR><BR>This ½" x ½" high-quality Confederate battle flag lapel button is made of gold, red, and blue enamel in the workings of the battle flag.
