This exquisite satin green frosted glass figural powder jar is known as COURT JESTER and is shown and described on pages 44-45 in Whitmyer: Bedroom & Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years. The powder jar lid depicts a Jester's head with ruffled collar atop a rounded lid on a twelve footed base. The jar and its lid measures about 4 1/2" tall x 5 1/4" across the base, with the exceptions of wear to the silver, due to age, a tiny nick on the rim of the base and one on the rim of the lid, both are in excellent condition.
