A 1950 double page print from the <i>Police Gazette</i>, reprinted from Dec 15, 1894, promoting their upcoming fight. Corbett and Fitzsimmons are illustrated squaring off with an elaborate championship belt in the background featuring oval portraits of both fighters plus defeated champion John L. Sullivan. Unobtrusive punctures at center fold where removed from magazine; else Fine. Nicely double matted and contained under glass within simple frame. Overall 25½"x18".</span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.
