"A nice Civil War period family photograph lot from a Bridgeport, Connecticut family. Included is a CDV of Musician Robert D. Kelley of the 6th Connecticut Volunteers sitting in a chair wearing a sack coat. Kelley initially served with the 1st Connecticut at First Bull Run and then reenlist in the 6th served in the Carolina's and Virginia for the remainder of the war. Plus a full standing CDV of acting Ensign Frank H. Beers and his friend. Beers served as acting Ensign in the navy throughout the war, resigning in 1865. Both images were photographed by Erekson, Bridgeport. There are nineteen other tintypes and CDVs of family members and friends.
