(P&W 888); a draft act authorizing borrowing in order to redeen currency; a Feb. 20, 1863 amendment by Mr. Garnett to further issue treasury notes (P&W 559); Amendment, Dec. 14, 1864 by Mr. Perkins re: redeeming curreny (P&W 743); (Similar Substitute Bill, Dec. 14, 1864 P&W 744); Report of the Special Committe on the Payment of Claims, 7pp., 1864, a questioning of Memminger on how debts should be paid (P&W 889); Amendment by Mr. Chilton, finance bill (P&W 641); Senate Report of the Committe on Finance, Jan. 25, 1864, financial problems facing the CSA and possible remedies, 12pp. (P&W 459). A total of 54 imprints, some stamped with "Rebel Archives" seizure stamp, overall very good to fine condition.
