One, Serial No. 8008 in the amount of $1,000, a 6% bond in Richmond, Feb 5, 1865, by act of Feb 17, 1864. Redeemable “<i>Two years after the ratification of a Treaty of Peace with the United States.</i>” Rural scene with a man at a turnstile vignette at top center. Engraved by “<i>Geo. Dunn & Co., Richmond, Va</i>.” General toning; normal folds with a 1½" tear only slightly touching vignette; occasional edge tears with no paper loss. Criswell No. 154. Second is Serial No. 2249 for $100, a 4% bond in Richmond, Aug 25, 1864, by act of Feb 17, 1864. Redeemable Jul 1, 1884, featuring a vignette of Confederate ironclad ram <i>Virginia</i> sinking Federal warships. By “<i>Geo. Dunn & Co., Richmond, Va</i>.” General toning; scattered soiling and staining; edge wear; normal folds with partial separations with no paper loss. Criswell No. 141. Overall Fair/Good condition.</span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.

to Signature House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire transfer
details are available upon request. West Virginia residents will pay a
sales tax of 6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA a

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within seven day
providing that it comes back in the same condition. There is a
lifetime guarantee on authenticity to the original purchaser. The
item(s) must be returned with two letters denying it’s authenticity by
expert authenticators acceptable to both parties.
15. The placing of a bid shall constitute acceptance of the
preceding terms and conditions of sale.
