Redeemable “<i>Two years after the ratification of a Treaty of Peace with the United States.</i>” Rural scene with a man at a turnstile vignette at top center. Engraved by “<i>Geo. Dunn & Co., Richmond, Va</i>.” General toning; normal folds with a 1½" tear only slightly touching vignette; occasional edge tears with no paper loss. Criswell No. 154. Second is Serial No. 2249 for $100, a 4% bond in Richmond, Aug 25, 1864, by act of Feb 17, 1864. Redeemable Jul 1, 1884, featuring a vignette of Confederate ironclad ram <i>Virginia</i> sinking Federal warships. By “<i>Geo. Dunn & Co., Richmond, Va</i>.” General toning; scattered soiling and staining; edge wear; normal folds with partial separations with no paper loss. Criswell No. 141.
