COLT MODEL 1851 NAVY REVOLVER.
.36 caliber, six-shot cylinder, 7 1/2" octagonal barrel with New York address, walnut grips. S/n 109489.

According to tradition, this gun originally belonged to Joseph Berkstresser of Company L of the 160th Pennsylvania Volunteers, which was later reorganized into Company L of the 15th Pennsylvania Cavalry.

Condition: Only fair condition, scattered oxidation, action is nonfuntional, loading lever does not move, marks worn and barrel scene not visible. Mfd. 1861.
