Byrne, Grafton-Street, 1790Pages 39, (1, blank), 12mo, recent paper wrapper : a very good copy. ESTC locates only three copies of this printing : NcD,TxHR,CaOTU : none in UK or Ireland. There were four printing by Byrne in 1790, of 48, 58, 57 and 39-pages respectively - priority not established. In our 39-page issue the imprint date is in arabic, 'Theatre-Royal’ is spelled correctly, and, 'of’ in the title is in Roman caps.ALSO WITH THIS LOT: LLOYD ( Robert ). a comic opera. As it is performed at the Theatre Royal in Drury-Lane. The music [not included in this edition] composed by Mr. Rush. 1764. The only Dublin printing. Based upon Favart's Caprices d'Amour. Lloyd died, in dire financial circumstances, shortly after the play's first performance.
