Kushano-Sasanian. ‘Varhran’ (Kirada?), after 350 AD, Scyphate Gold Stater, obv Sasanian Kushanshah standing sacrificing at small altar, tamga to right, Bactrian legend, rev Shiva, holding trident and wreath, standing in front of Bull, Bactrian legend, all surrounded by circle of large pellets, 7.66g (Cribb, Kushano-Sasanian chronology, 9). Very fine, reverse better struck than often found on these scyphate issues, an attractive coin.
