Set of four coin silver butter pats. There are two marks one Albert Cole, worked at 6 Little Green Street, N.Y. Also R. Rait for Robert Rait who worked at Ann Street who was commissioned by the City Council to design badges for the New York Police Department. Both of these silversmiths were also retailers. Great engine turning. Mono of [EST] on the back. Size 3 5/8 inches across and about 3/4 inch deep. They are quite heavy. As a foot note during their life they were imported to France as there is an importation mark on all four. Excellent condition
