Lot of 2. 1. Happy Dream Mining and Milling Company. No. 109 issued to Peter W. Ferve by A. Leopold, Secretary and Jos. G. Schuler, President on 3 August 1907. Crème paper with orange border. The vignette is of two sets of miners working underground in two different shafts, one the “old fashioned” way with picks and pick axes and the others with a pneumatic drill. Not canceled. Folds are visible but overall the stock is in good condition.

2. The Hyland Mining and Milling Company. No. 70 issued to Ralph Plumb by William B. Root, Secretary and L. W. Nichols, President in Denver Colorado on 12 June 1901. Signed on reverse by Plumb’s agent. Canceled. Crème paper with orange border. A small vignette of miners working underground with pick axes. There are pin holes in the upper left corner of the border and folds are visible. Good condition. The town of Idaho Springs was the center of the Clear Creek County during the early gold rush of 1859.
