Number 233 issued to Chas. B. Keen by Newton S. Gandy, Secretary, and E. B. Kennedy, President on 6 March for 1,000 shares. Excellent condition. U/C. Rare. The company was incorporated in 1892 and had its main offices in Colorado Springs. The company owned “a portion of the Tipton, containing 1 1-2 acres, in the S. W. 1-4 section 30; also the Flower of the West, containing 3 1-2 acres, all on Squaw [Mountain]; also the mineral rights in conflict with the Alhambra, in the S. W. 1-4 section 30; the Dollie V., containing 10 acres, in the center of section 24, on Gold [Hill]; and the Mary Gold, containing 3 acres, in the E. 1-2 section 18 on Globe [Hill]. All the . . . property was patented" [Ref: Hills, Fred, The Official Manual of the Cripple Creek District, Colorado, p. 180, 1900].
