CMA 45 Caliber Center Hammer Percussion Cap Pistol
Center hammer .45 caliber percussion pistol with antique powder flask. This fine pistol features a
bright steel 4” barrel with brass base and frame. The Walnut grips are of “birds-head” design popular on pocket pistols and revolvers of the 19th century. It also features a “spur trigger” also popular for concealment purposes. Under the barrel is stamped “CMA” with serial number 7029A. There do not appear to be any foreign proof marks on this attractive pistol. It also displays a solid brass ramrod mounted in twin brass hangers under the barrel. The brass has aged to an attractive, uncleaned mustard patina. The antique oval flask is made from hammered copper and shows a great age patina along with brass fittings and spout. It appears to date from the 1850 period. Spring tension is excellent and the spout unscrews correctly. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
