A fairly primitive one piece rosewood cane with carved clenched fist handle with brass & ivory inlaid dots justbelow fist. Possibly a piece of sailors work. Total length 35.75" with 1" nickel ferrule.Shrinkage splits, discontinuous along length of shaft & into fist.(EST 300-400)
