CJ Ramone’s tour-used Ampeg SVT amplifier and road case used by original Ramones bassist Doug Colvin (Dee Dee Ramone) until his departure from the band in 1989, and subsequently used by CJ Ramone until the band's 1996 breakup. This amp was purchased in April 1983 and was one of the SVT bass amps used on stage by Dee Dee Ramone until his departure. CJ Ramone then used the amp until the band broke up in 1996. This amp head is original with only tubes being swapped periodically during the band's touring days. The second matching stage used SVT amp head is in the Ramones Museum in Berlin, Germany. This amplifier was used on stage by the Ramones for approximately 1,200 shows.

The amp head measures 24 x 12 x 14.75 and features a two-channel operation, with bright and normal inputs; channel one has tone knob controls for low, mid-range and high, plus three switchable frequency gain controls for Ultra-high (0/+), Mid-range (220Hz, 800Hz, 3000Hz), and Ultra-low (-/0/+); channel two has an EQ section with low and high tone knob controls and switching for Ultra-high and Ultra-low. Serial number on back panel reads: “100339.” The lift-top road case measures 27.75 x 15 x 18. The black-textured plywood case with foam interior features four casters, one carrying handle to left and right sides, spring-loaded recessed catches to front and back, and the case marked "9" twice. Several logo and band stickers are affixed to the case, and the top panel is painted with faded white stenciling, “Ramones.” Included with the case is a three-piece outfit from the personal wardrobe of CJ Ramone: an XL black t-shirt for Dee Dee Ramone’s Poison Heart; a pair of Levi's 505 jeans, size 36 x 34; and a pair of Pro-Keds hi-tops, size 13, with black canvas and white soles. In overall very good condition, with generally expected wear.
