BUGLE & PARTS. 1) CORNET. A sm. cornet measuring 13 1/4" in length & approx. 6" in width. Cornet has 3 valves & has no markings. CONDITION: bell is a bit bent, only 1 valve functions, 1 valve base is missing & there are scattered dents throughout. 2) CORNET. A larger cornet measuring 15 1/2" in length & approx. 6 1/2" in width. Cornet has 3 valves & has no markings. CONDITION: bell is dented & the tube leading to the bell is bent. The 3 valves seem to work well. There are scattered dents throughout the horn. 3) TUBA. A 4 valve tuba measuring approx. 23" in length & approx. 12" in width. Tuba marked, “J.W. PEPPER IMPORTER PHILADELPHIA 25214”. CONDITION: bell has minor dents. There are scattered dents throughout the tuba. Entire tuba has been painted gold. 4) 4 BUGLES. Bugles are of various sizes & periods. CONDITION: most bugles have pieces missing & dents scattered throughout. 5) PARTS. 1 Group of parts for early brass instruments including mouth pieces, slides, keying devices & various tubes. CONDITION: all parts show wear. (02-14221(8)/BF). 6) FRENCH HORN. Horn is silver plated, approx. 15" in size & unmarked. CONDITION: all finger valves function. Horn is in comparatively good shape w/ few dents & no losses. 7) 5 MILITARY BUGLES. Bugles are of various sizes & periods. CONDITION: 2 bugles have significant dents. 3 Show light to moderate wear.
