& MORE. 1) BOOTS. A pair of tall leather cavalry boots measuring approx. 25 1/2" tall, 11" at the sole & 9" at the top flare. Boots appear to be post Civil War as they are right & left specific. CONDITION: finish is worn & a bit crazed but boots are substantially solid. (02-14210/BF). 2) BOOTS. Boots are approx. 15 1/2" high, 10" at the sole & 5" at the top. They are fine quality Civil War officer’s boots w/ leather pulls at the top. CONDITION: leather remains substantially supple. Overall light wear. 3) COFFEE POT. A lg. copper camp coffee pot dating to the early 20th century, measuring approx. 13" in height & 10" in diameter at the base. Lid is attached w/ a chain. Bail handle has a wooden center. CONDITION: light wear overall. (02-14286/BF). 4) LEATHER BELTS & SLINGS PLUS DISCHARGES. 20 Complete & partial leather belts & slings dating from the Civil War through the Spanish American War. There is a variety of belts & most of the slings are for canteens. Most belts are complete & just need some TLC. CONDITION: leather is generally dry but would respond well to a good cleaning & conditioning. / 3 Framed Civil War discharges. CONDITION: all discharges have colored w/ age but remain legible. 1 Has been enhanced w/ dark red coloration. (02-14288/BF). 5) EARLY TRUNK. A wooden trunk edged in metal & decorated w/ brass tacks. Trunk measures approx. 28" x 12 3/4" x 14". The outside is painted black. The inside is lined in blue paper. CONDITION: outside shows significant finish loss & deterioration to the covering. Inside has water staining & losses to the paper. (02-14314/BF). $700-1,000.
