He was a member of the "Fifth Moon Group" and from 1963 to 1973, taught art at Tungai University in Taiwan. He was awarded the John D. Rockefeller Foundation Study and Travel award and traveled to New York and Europe. In 1973, Chuang moved to Ann Arbor Michigan, and in 1988, moved to New York City. His artwork has been shown in important Galleries, including David Barnett Gallery, Milwaukee; Lungmen Art Gallery, Taiwan; Haeneh-Kent Gallery, New York, and Cork Gallery, New York City. The east Asian art and archaeology newsletter calls Chuang one of the two most important leaders in the Taiwanese modernist movement. <BR><BR><B>Important notice:</B> Heritage usually auctions material at the rate of 200-250 lots per hour.
