CHIPPENDALE CARD TABLE.
Philadelphia, 1760-1780, mahogany, pine, poplar, and chestnut. Flip-top card table with a one drawer and resting on carved cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet. Imperfections. 29"h. 25"w. 17 1/2"d. (closed) 35"d. (open).
Condition: Refinished, gadrooning and top replaced, one foot broken at the ankle, hinge repair on the top. Appears to retain its original brass on the drawer. Though the drawer is largely original, the remainder of the table is essentially reconstituted from both old and new parts.
