The deeply hand-tooled silver crook on this cane is about 3.5" high and 4.5" wide. The images on the distal portionare peasants working in the fields. One carries a sheaf of straw, another wooden buckets of water. There is an Asianscript symbol between them on one side, a bamboo stalk on the other. The decorated portion on the end haschrysanthemums and other floral images. The rosewood (?) shaft ends with a 1" horn ferrule. The ferrule is missinga wedge-shaped piece near the end and the shaft finish is slightly worn. Overall length, 35.25".(EST 400-600)
