<td width="100%">
I am pleased to offer a stunning mirror image pair of DAFFODIL YELLOW VASES with Famille rose florals, early 19th century CHINESE, made into lamps, circa 1920. The lamps are as originally wired, complete with harps. All findings are good quality early brass.
The painted pink peony florals and emerald leaves are executed with great detail,and are accented by a floral scrolling sgraffito ground of orange peel of the richest daffodil yellow. The fine brass bases are ornate with polished openwork.
The lamps are exquisite from any angle, and I have shown a shade here to give you the feel of what these lamps really look like.
I have partially taken the vases apart and the interior is robins egg blue. The vases may be considerably earlier than I have suggested determined by the fine workmanship and detail of the porcelain. These lamps are especially attractive with blue and white decor.
Dimensions: Height: 20"(51cm) to top of harp
10"(25.50cm) the vase height
Width: 4 1/2"(11cm)
Condition: Excellent, no chips, frits or damage. Lamps are in working colndition. Rewiring is suggested.
