<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>(1729-1824). Secretary of the Continental Congress (1774-89). Called “the Sam Adams of Philadelphia” by John Adams, Thomson was one of the first patriots active in colonial resistance to the British, exercising much influence owing to his ability and integrity. DS, 1½pp, legal folio, Philadelphia, Dec 6,1769. Report by the Auditors appointed by the Orphans Court on the results of their examination of the accounts of the executors of Charles Kress, deceased, confirming that the accounts are correct and conform to the wishes of the testator and that any charges due are to be paid out of the estate. Boldly signed by Thomson and two other auditors, <b><font size=-1>Saml. Morris</font></b> and <b><font size=-1>Isaac Paschall</font></b>. Vertical fold separation repaired with clear tape on recto; partial separations of horizontal fold repaired with clear tape on second leaf; 1½"x2½" edge tear on blank integral leaf expertly repaired; old repair stains on integral leaf with some show-through of repair stains on second leaf slightly touching Morris’ signature and single word of text; all other stains and repairs away from text. With all faults, text and all signatures are darkly penned and easily legible.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,
whichever is higher.

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject
to increased charges. All items are shipped
immediately upon receipt of payment.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
must be returned with two letters denying it’s
authenticity by expert authenticators acceptable
