After the Second World War, he took up film activities in Hollywood, California and exhibited his paintings in Los Angeles. Levier's father was French Corsican and his mother was American, thus providing him with the opportunity to seek fame in both countries. He would continue to paint landscapes in Corsica, France. Levier's figures, with their powerful omnipresent outlines, manifest the strong and linear style for which he is celebrated. His paintings are in the permanent collections of international museums and private collectors, including: Museum of Modern Art, Paris; Menton Museum; Peter Lawford Collection; Frank Sinatra Collection; Adlai Stevenson Collection; Baron Edmond de Rothschild Collection; San Diego Museum of Art; Atlanta Museum, Atlanta, Georgia; Evansville Museum of Art, Evansville, Indiana; New Orleans Museum of Art, New Orleans, Louisiana; Wright Museum of Art, Beloit, Wisconsin; and the Seattle Art Museum in Seattle, Washington.
1

Condition Report: in good condition
