DS, "Charles R', as King, 1p, Jan 29, 1661, folio, interesting content re a park owned by his the King's mother, Queen Mary. In part, "Whereas the Park of Sommersham...County of Huntington is parcell of...Deare Mother Queen Mary, and that the same in the late unhappy times was & now is actually disparked, & the land divided into Inclosures, and all or most of the wood cut down & destroyed...and whereas the whole profitt of the soyle is detained from Our said Deare Mother under pretence of a right claimed by the Keepers; To the end therefore Our said Mother may enjoy her full right therein.. .prepare a Bill for Our Royall signature for disparking of the said park..."
