<b>Notes: </b>"One of the most important German architects of the post World War II era, Egon Eiermann(1904-1970), also produced a large number of furniture designs. His three-legged chair 'SE 69' is one of his most admired and publicized models, and shows the influence that international designers, such as Charles and Ray Eames, Hans Wegener, and Arne Jacobsen had on his work. There are especially noticeable similarities to the models by Charles and Ray Eames. However, apart from formal characteristics, such as the extremely anatomical form of the seat, a closer examination reveals fundamental differences in the methods of putting the materials together" - (20 CENTURY SEATS, p. 64).
