Included here: a hand-written letter to Esther Williams from Milton Berle (signed in black ink "Milton"), requesting she be on the dais for a dinner presenting a Life Achievement Award to Red Skelton; a form letter to the club members from Berle (signed in black ink "Milton Berle") regarding Skelton's black tie dinner; a note paper draft to Fred Astaire from Berle (signed in pencil "Milton Berle"), requesting that Astaire be chairman for a dinner honoring Gene Kelly; a two-page draft on note paper from Berle (initialed "M.B.") regarding a dinner for Dick Shawn; a photocopy of a letter to Gary Morton from Berle regarding a dinner for the Los Angeles Raiders; and a photocopy of a letter regarding a "roast" for sports entrepreneur Jerry Buss. Years covered are 1984 and 1985.
