<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>Assortment of six notables. TLS by Academy Award winning actress <b><font size=-1>Helen Hayes</font></b>, 1p, 8vo, Nyack, NY, Feb 6, 1968. She graciously declines centenary celebration due to scheduled rehearsals; with transmittal envelope. Two ISPs, b/w, 7¼"x9¼", quarter-length portrait of young actor <b><font size=-1>Douglas Fairbanks Jr.</font></b>, adding “<i>July 6th 1948</i>”; and color, overall 10"x8" group portrait of his band signed by <b><font size=-1>Lawrence Welk</font></b>. Plus two album leaves signed by journalist/commentator <b><font size=-1>Lowell Thomas</font></b> [Nov 1930] in green ink; and Chief Justice <b><font size=-1>Charles E. Hughes</font></b> [Apr 1936]. Also, a clipped signature, 3¼"x2", of turn-of-the-century stage star <b><font size=-1>John Drew</font></b>, who adds “<i>1911</i>.” Mounted beneath two magazine portraits. All boldly signed. Very nice.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,
whichever is higher.

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject
to increased charges. All items are shipped
immediately upon receipt of payment.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
must be returned with two letters denying it’s
authenticity by expert authenticators acceptable
