Two CDVs of Wilhelm von Bechtold of the 45th Virginia Infantry and Austrian Infantry. Verso of both images contain soldier's name, ''Wilhelm von Bechtold,'' along with ink inscriptions in German, which include regiment information. Bechtold served with the Austrian Infantry in 1863. He was transferred to the 45th Virginia Infantry on 2 April 1864 and mustered out on 30 April 1865 as a Captain. Both images measure 2.5'' x 4'' and remain bright and clear. Overall excellent to near fine condition.
