CDV of Lieutenant Colonel and Surgeon Henry S. Schill. Ink inscription to verso reads, ''Dr. Henry L. Schill / Philadelphia PA / Asst. Surgeon U.S.A.'' Schill was appointed Assistant Surgeon in August 1861, Lieutenant Colonel in 1866 and resigned in July 1869. Image measures 2.5'' x 4''. Slight foxing, otherwise excellent condition.
