CDV and tintype of Civil War soldier. Tintype is a portrait of a young man with disheveled hair and an innocent expression. He is pictured from the chest-up in a sitting position. CDV shows same man in full uniform with stripe on his right sleeve, standing upright. He wears a stripe on his right sleeve. No backmark present. Both images in excellent condition, illustrating transition from civilian boy to military man.
