CDV OF EDWIN PERRIN AND KIOWA CHIEF. Great image of Edwin Perrin, U.S. expediter sent by the Secretary of War to help arm Civil War troops in the southwest. Image probably taken in Albuquerque, January, 1862. The Indian holds a bow and has a quiver full of arrows and holds a Colt pocket revolver. Perrin dressed in a fringed fur jacket and holds a sword.
