Civil War CDV of Union Soldier, General Quincy Adams Gilmore, whose name is written in ink on the back of the card. Gilmore is photographed from the waist up in a standing position. He holds his hat in one hand and is in full ceremonial uniform. His very full beard and round forehead give the illusion of youth and innocence. The Photographer's backmark reads, ''E. & H.T. Anthony, 501 Broadway, New York.'' The photo is approximately 2'' x 3'' on a card. Clean image with good detail on a sturdy card.
