Civil War CDV of soldier framed from chest up in contrast fading to white. Subject is wearing a Mandarin-style collar, no hat, mustache, and well-styled hair. Backmark reads: ''J. L. Lovell, Amherst, Mass. Negatives Preserved.'' Modern pencil writing at the top of verso. Image is fairly light with very light soiling. Measures 3.5'' x 2.5''. Very nice.
